Hey team!

This week, the youths will be learning about how Jesus has called us to show love by overcoming evil with good and by loving their enemies. I thought it appropriate to illustrate how Jesus is the source of this very love we should practice to not just the people we favor, but to everyone indiscriminately.

There will be NO PRACTICE THIS SATURDAY. Instead, we'll be having practice on Sunday itself, right after second service and before Youth Force. That means 12:45 PM - 1:20 PM.

Please practice two things; punctuality, as well the songs themselves! We are likely to stick to the original key (as per the video), but do practice one key higher and one key lower for each song just in case.

This week, we have yet another debut!

This Sunday, we have a speaker who'll be sharing on how youths can be an influencer. It's the perfect opportunity for us to recognize and worship the key influencer in our own lives, and of course we can't be leaving out any one person of the Godhead :)

Hello people!

This Sunday, we'll be having our very first SISTERS' DAY! It's an opportunity for the youths to show how much they appreciate our sisters in Christ, and you can be sure there's plenty on the agenda!

As such, we'll be doing only two fast praise songs, within a 10-minute window.

Songs are as follow:

Practice is this Saturday, 10 AM to 12 PM. If everyone comes on time we may be able to end earlier, say around 11:30 AM. So, you know what to do!

HAPPY 2018!

(^ that's the largest font size I could use, if I had my way I'll fill up this whole space with it)

New year, new beginnings! And what better way to start the year than to have (almost) all the worship leaders on stage, praising and worshiping God as one! But of course, no matter how many leaders there are in the team, we are but players in the background, as He takes the lead :)

Even as we try our best to stand resolute in our resolutions, and think about trying all sorts of new things, let us remember how it is by His grace in the first place that we have the blessings we have, and will have, so that no matter how this year turns out, no matter whether it's one that warms or breaks your heart, no matter whether it's one of new heights or new lows, there is one thing we can be sure of. Through it all, we shall rejoice, because there is joy in our hearts that comes from Him and Him alone.

Let's see if we can make transitioning from the bridge of Joy straight to the chorus of Your Grace is Enough work during practice, if not we'll just play the songs back-to-back :) Also to Clement, Joz and Ben, don't hesitate to swap songs with me or with any other leader, or ask Grace to lead one of the songs in your place for that matter! We're all in this together!

As usual, practice is this Saturday, sometime between 10 AM to 12 PM. Once I get the heads up from Veron I'll post the confirmed time slot in the Whatsapp chat group. Stay tuned!
