Worship Team Prac for 12.12.2010

Dear beloved children of God!

Ah.. and here comes the last youth service of the year.. (besides youth camp of course!). And i am glad to say that Ginny Kenneth Josiah Josean Timothy Matthew Joel and (MM : Victor Simon) will have the privilege to serve for the last Sunday of youth! =)

Its been a challenging year for all/most of us.. But look! God has brought you through again and again! *smiles* So therefore, lets prepare our hearts to offer up our worship & praise that He deserves! (the very best!!)

Lol.. i feel very excited as i am typing.. haha.. i picture the scene as if we (his children) are discussing at a corner in secret what should we give to our Father as the best gift, and our Father who knows everything that we do, just keep silent and chuckled. Then comes the day when we are to present our gift, although He knows what we are going to offer, He just sit there patiently and let us present it to Him, deep down, He is so deeply touched and overjoyed nomatter what/how the gift was/turns out because it was something made from the thankful and sincere hearts of his beloved children.

Hehe.. and Oh, if you are wondering why isn’t Tommy leading this Sunday, it is because He has to step in for someone in the main service worship team yea... =)

Dear beloved of God, its great to be serving with all of you again.

One thing we must always keep in mind is to always expect great things from God!
Expect Him that He will do something awesome come each Sunday!

The thrill of serving won’t be there if you don’t expect anything from God, don’t expect Him to move, don’t expect Him to heal, don’t expect Him to touch, don’t expect Him to change you from the inside out, don’t expect Him to start an overturn in Youth Force.

Therefore, i urge you brothers and sisters to really pray through, tell Him what big things you expect Him to do! For this is His work! For in His word it says, Ask, and you shall receive! Seek, and you shall find! Knock, and the door shall be open!

It is high time for us to start the overturn! Come on!

I pray that God will start stirring this in the hearts of all of you.

This is His Kingdom we are talking about! Let that faith arise, and see how God will move, yea?!

hey!! dear Youth Sunday team!
as promised, here is the song tinggikan dirimu-GMB ! was trying to find a better version with the verse but to no avail yet.. haha.. but this is still ok =)..
I really do appreciate all of you and your effort in really listening(dissecting) all the songs.. i feel it would be a joy to God as we try to give our very best to Him who deserves nothing less!

** practice time will be from 3.30-6.00pm this Saturday (31st July 2010) DO BE PUNCTUAL!

Hey to all the awesome worshippers who are serving on Youth sunday!
I believe I've either called you or spoke to you about your involvement.

First & foremost, thank you for your availability and the heart to serve.

Also, as much as i would want us to really bring out the best worship to God, I urge all of you to keep our team covered with the shield of prayer as we are susceptible to the arrows of the evil one. Keep praying!

To worship God is a privilege given from above!
To learn how to worship through our experiences is even more exciting!
What it takes is a heart that is humbled with sincerity..
through Jesus blood which wash us clean ..
lifting up all that's within us as a sacrifice of praise and adoration to Him
My desire is to feel His presence in our midst..
His delight in our praises is my greatest joy in worship..
Let the time we serve God not be an ongoing routine..
but another thrilling&exciting service we do onto our God..
when we change our perspective on this, it changes our view on worship altogether!
It lifts us from our human view on our situations to where God's eye view is!
Because Our God, He is REAL..
He deserves the BEST.. and so let's give it all we have.. the VERY BEST we can ..
Remember although we are youths... but do not let anyone look down upon you because you are young, but SET AN EXAMPLE to the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity!!

Dear worship team members,

You guys should have received the roster, rite? I hope everyone will be alert enough to know that you're serving on that particular weekend :)

Anyways, I would like to (officially) announce that from now on, the roster will be made available in soft copy (meaning digital format) by default. Should you really need a printed copy, do print it out on your own, or let me know - I can get it printed for you.

There are 3 primary reasons for going digital, namely:

1. Save the trees.
