Dear all,
Truly thank God for the rain today and for clearing up the haze for the day.Just through this rain,it reminded me of God's goodness and the many blessing He has bless each one of us.His love for each one of us (in this case,clearing up the haze for us so we can have good air to breathe for the day).When i'm preparing for this Sunday's worship,the word "His Greatness....His Majesty" was pressed upon my heart.At times we are just too caught up with all the things in the world and forgotten to acknowledge and proclaim His Greatness and splendor. Through this,it reminded me of a verse and want to share with you.
"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours.Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all." 1 Chronicles 29:11

Worship Team 3rd Q - Roaster

just a word of encouragement..
Hey!! Praise God for such a wonderful Worship today! All glory belongs to the Lord! Truly, without His empowerment we won't be able to do it so fluently! :) .. Hope God is pleased with our worship!
I would like to express my thanks to all the leaders who had been supporting the worship team directly/indirectly and all the psalmist, musicians, and choir members.. thank you for your commitment and sacrifice.. I'm sure as much as you have give to the Lord, God will surely and indeed He will bless all of you in return!
Yes, there were so many hick-ups throughout the whole process of preparation but God reminded me just this morning that "It is through our weaknesses that God's power is make perfect!", we gotta have the faith in and of God that it will work out! For His ways are higher than our ways! Proverbs 16: 1-9
I also learn that it is also very important to have that unity of love that binds us together in a worship team.. We all play a part in the body of Christ.. we need each other if we really want to see our youth force worship ministry/team move on to another level.. as 1 Corinthians 12:12-26 says
12The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. 13For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
14Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 16And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
21The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" 22On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
What i'm trying to point out is that we need each other.. not just the leaders alone.. but all the members of this worship team..
So therefore lets continue to work together hand in hand and press on to offer all that we have - our undivided worship unto God!
